The main mission of commercial department in City Petro Energy Group company is “supplement of municipalities requirements, such as tar and machinery and equipment for municipalities, and export of oil and petrochemical products and transit of oil product from CIS countries to Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan and import of equipment and machinery for railway and oil, gas and petrochemical industries.

         One of the best actions which helps traffic problem in metropolitans, is development of public transportation system. For example, subway is very important to solve traffic and air pollution in many cities. High safety, passengers relaxation, energy consumption reduction, suitable speed low rate of passenger transport in comparison with car are the advantages of urban trains. The importance of urban railway development in Iran and it’s role to increase quantity and quality of urban development is a necessity that is municipalities responsibility and according to this issue city bank of Iran as municipalities bank should run this subject and it is leaded to make infrastructures in this field by using experiences and practical ideas of experts in this field

Alarm and fire suppression system

CPEG has signed an agreement with Chinese company TONG FANG that is gaseous alarm fire suppression equipment in lines 1.2.3 of Tehran subway. This company is ready to supply gaseous alarm and fire suppression for line 1 of Tabriz subway with CPEG partnership.

Ongoing Projects in Railway Department of City Petro Energy Group Company

  • The project of equipment supplement for 6th Tehran Metro Line in the form of financing, designing, procurement, carrying and installation and training by EPC&F Model
    • Information and specifications of “6th Tehran Metro Line project”

The length of 6th Tehran Metro Line is about 31 km with 27 stations. This line starts from Dolat Abaad in southeastern of Tehran in Toseka park area and passes Azadegan highway. Passing Kianshahr area and Besaat Highway, it goes to 17 Shahrivar Street. Going to the north of Tehran and passing Shoosh Avenue, Khorasan square, Shahid Aiat Allah Mahallati and Shohada Square, it arrives to Imam Hossein Square

After Imam Hossein Station, this line goes to Sepah square along Khaje Nasir avenue. Passing Dr. Shariaati Avenue and Bahar Shiraz Street, this line arrives to Haft-e-Tir Square. Furthermore, going to Lale Park along Karim khan Street to Vali-e-Asr Square and Keshavarz Boulevard, this Metro line changes the direction to the North and goes to Karger-e-Shomali Avenue

Passing the crossing of Kargar Avenue and Dr. Fatemi Street and Jalal Al-e-Ahmad Boulevard, this line goes to Nasr Bridge (Gisha). After Shahid Dr. Chamran Highway, arriving Shahrak-e-Azmaiesh Bridge, this line passes Yadegar Imam Highway, Shahid Aiat Allah Ashrafi Isfahani Highway, Shahid Aiat Allah Hakim Highway, Shahid Sattari highway, Aiat Allah Kashani highway and Shahid Hemmat Highway. Then this line ends to Shahrak Kan and Soloqan area in Northwestern of Tehran

In addition, this line has 1 depot in the south of 6th Tehran Metro Line, 3 posts of HVS about 63/20 kv along the line with a parking at the end of northern line

The width of all Station is about 14 meters and The length of all platforms is approximately 140 meters and The width of all platforms is about 4 meters. The average of interval between every 2 stations is approximately 1100 meters

The progress report of 6th Tehran Metro Line

The aim of the 6th Tehran Metro Line project is “Financing, designing, procurement, carrying, installation, training and supplement of spare parts and special measurement and tools for electrification applications and SCAD, Signs, Traffic Control, Telecommunication systems and automatic fare collection (AFC), ventilation and BAS, FAS and FES systems, elevators and escalators, parking, depot and workshops for 6th Tehran Metro Line. Furthermore, the length of 6th Tehran Metro Line is about 31 km with 27 stations”.

The total cost which has been estimated for this project is 13,300 billion Rails. In 1995, a tender about giving the project to investors and qualified contractors was done. Therefore, the project was given to the consortium which is included by Mapna Group, Sabir international and City Petro Energy Group Company, as the representative of bank shahr to be done by the Model of EPC&F. City Petro Energy Group Company has the role of financer and project leader of consortium.

In addition, doing a wide range of meetings with Mapna Group, Sabir international and Tehran Urban and Suburban Railway Operation Company, a wide array of legal and registered agreements and transactions and other correspondence was set. Not only this, a guideline and strategic document was set and written. The responsibilities and functions of every entity and member of this consortium has been clarified in that “guideline and strategic document”.

Renewable & Sustainable Energy

The world growing population need energy increasingly and the reserves fossil energy is going to finish. So that we must substitute new energy resources instead.  On the other hand, the for the environmental damages resulted from air polluting gases, international organizations put strong rigorous laws about saving environment and substitution of new alternatives for energy that are less harmful for the earth. In our country, Iran, using renewable energy faces with fundamental and important obstacles. The main reasons in application of these sources are lack of knowledge about the benefits of sustainable energies in authorities and public, less economic justification in absence of policies of using foreign currency resources and etc.  The renewable and sustainable energies are classified as follows:

One of the problems in urban areas is the management of different kind of wastes. There are several solutions for disposing or recycling the wastes which differs depending on the kind and volume of them. If the right method for landing and disposing are applied they are less dangerous. The improved countries are using and developing methods to decrease the volume of landfilled wastes, doing recycling, incinerating and other methods, while in Iran this number is increasing day by day. According to the statistics only a few percent of the waste like infectious or nuclear waste or the kinds that are not recyclable must be landfilled and the rest should be used again in the economic cycle in forms of different matter or energy

The ongoing activities in Qom municipality project in Waste

The Qom waste project is defined for Hitachi -Atbin company. According to the researches of Atbin co., the project costs about 20 million Euro.  The economic and technical aspects should be studied and discussed in detail in common meetings between the Atbin, Qom municipality and CPEG Co. as the representative of Bank Shahr and finally approved by Qom Municipality. according to the agreement 50% of the project cost must be paid by Qom municipality and the rest must be taken over by the Bank Shahr. The time of construction is estimated about 24 months and it is done in EPC$F format. The other projects that are under investigation in this field are

The solar energy

The solar energy of the new solutions that has attracted many attentions in the world. Solar energy is the widest source of energy in the world. The amount of sun radiation in different parts of the world is variable. The maximum radiation is received in solar belt. Iran is held between 25 to 40 degrees in northern latitude and is in a good ranking in receiving solar radiation. So using solar equipment in supplying energy is reasonable. The proposed projects in this field is building and development of small scale solar power plants in metro and other public places owned by municipality.  CPEG is intended to use municipal places to construct small projects in solar energy using the best technology in panel and inverter. This can develop the culture of consuming the renewable energy especially solar power plants. The economic and technical studies is being established in CPEG with the help of Iranian and international specialists in this field

The Wind power plant projects

The wind power plants are more expensive than solar power plants. In addition, the time for feasibility studies and construction is longer. However, the IRR of these projects is higher so they are popular projects for energy investors. Due to the good potential of wind power in the eastern parts of Iran, it seems that they are valuable projects to invest on Technical and economical investigations are being held in the CPEG

The desalination and transferring Oman sea water to the central and Eastern areas in Iran

The Richterra and GrahamTek, are the two companies that have announced their intention to establish and construct the factory for desalination next to the Oman sea and also the water pipe line to the eastern parts of Iran. The economic model proposed for this is project is BOT
